	Pentagon confirmed their intent to keep National Guard soldiers stationed 
	in DC through January 2029 . This should ring alarm bells for anyone who w
	ants to see Trump’s reign of terror\, corruption\, and destruction come to
	 an end. The news from the Pentagon came just hours after new research fro
	m the Center for American Progress shows that the National Guard’s presenc
	e in DC is doing nothing to reduce violent crime. DC residents have been s
	aying this for months. Now we have data to back it up. Communities in DC d
	emand an end to the "DC Safe and Beautiful Task Force\," an end to the occ
	upation\, and the National Guard out now.
